OpenLab keeps the lights on thanks in large part to our Consortium members. Our ultimate goal is to have a positive impact on the world—an objective that would be impossible but for the generosity and collaborative spirit of our members.

Below is an overview of our standard membership packages, depending on the level of support. In a recognition that bucketing options in such a binary manner may not work for every organization, we also offer custom membership packages. Please contact us to discuss other options that may fit your needs and interests more directly.

Essential Contributor

  • + Recognition on OpenLab website

    + Supporters-only mailing list

    + Provide industry perspective on OpenLab research areas

    + Participate in industry-specific initiatives

    + Explore opportunities for collaborative research projects

    + Participate in white paper and/or case study development

Advocate Supporter

  • Advocate Supporters receive all of the Contributor benefits, plus:

    + Participate in biannual roundtable reviewing current research projects and advancements

    + Discuss key research areas OpenLab researchers and/or students

    + Opportunities for student recruitment

    + Participate in OpenLab event/conference planning, including the opportunity to nominate speakers (based on availability)

    + Invitation to annual OpenLab members-only summit

    + Choose a day for up to 5 members of your organization to visit OpenLab

    + Named researcher or student position

Full Consortium Member

  • Full Consortium Members enjoy all of the benefits offered to Supporters, as well as:

    + Opportunity to nominate one individual to OpenLab advisory board

    + Recognition alongside OpenLab on specified branded materials

    + Collaborate with OpenLab researchers to develop special working groups and projects

    + Facilitated participation in topical working groups

    + Opportunities for exclusive student-driven research and prototyping

    + Opportunity to nominate one visiting scholar per academic calendar year

    + Opportunity to nominate one employee-in-residence at OpenLab

    + Two customized company days per academic year
